Swine Flu and You

(Information for People Living in Orange County)

What is swine flu?
Swine Influenza (swine flu) is a respiratory disease of pigs caused by type A influenza viruses that causes regular outbreaks in pigs. People do not normally get swine flu, but human infections can and do happen. Swine flu viruses have been reported to spread from person-to-person, but in the past, this transmission was limited and not sustained beyond three people.

Tobacco Prevention Project

Orange County on Track is working on a Tobacco Prevention Project (out of the County of Orange Health Care Agency) with a goal to reduce youth access to tobacco.  

Congratulations to the 2008 Top 25 Businesses

Each year, the City recognizes the Top 25 Sales Tax-Producing businesses in the City.  These 25 businesses account for nearly 75 percent of the City's sales tax revenue.
