Beautification Committee

The Beautification Committee is responsible for recognizing residents and businesses that improve their properties and contribute to the Citywide beautification campaign. The Committee also helps increase and promote community pride. The Committee was established in 2000 by the City Council.  Members are appointed by both the City Council and the La Habra Area Chamber of Commerce.

Community Services Commission

The Community Services Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council, City Manager and Director of Community Services on matters pertaining to public recreation and facilities, cultural and special events, and social and leisure programs operated or brokered by the City.  The Commission also reviews applications made to the Community Development Block Grant program and the City's Community Grants program.

Planning Commission

The Planning Commission is responsible for the consideration of proposals relating to variances, conditional use permits, planned unit developments, zone changes, environmental impact reports and amendments to the General Plan. The Commission makes recommendations to the City Council on these matters.  The Commission also makes recommendations to the City Council on ordinances and policies relative to long-range physical and land use developments within the City. more
